One great thing about Brooklyn is the nightlight that has to offer. Especially when you head out to Greenpoint. There are some amazing Greenpoint bars, shopping, and food.

I’m sure we all wish we could go out to bars with our friends again. However, until then, there are still plenty of opportunities to visit some of the best bars! Whether that be outdoor dining or to-go options, bars are now back and ready for (a new and improved) business!

Where Are The Go-To Greenpoint Bars?

When it comes to the area if it’s one thing they have it’s bars. Whether you’re new to town, just visiting or simply looking to expand your list of go-to bars. Here are 5 of some of the hottest bars in Greenpoint!

Ramona

Although indoor dining is not yet open in New York City, Ramona should be the first place to go when it does! Time travel may or may not exist, but when it comes to Ramona, it’s the next best thing. It has some of the best interior decor, in a vintage style, making it super unique!

Although you currently cannot dine in, that’s not stopping Ramona. What makes this such a cool Greenport bar is the variety of drinks that they offer to go! Ramona may be “closed” but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy some of their amazing cocktails and food!

Each of their cocktails ranges from $12 to $16 and there are so many to choose from! Vodka fan? Try out their “Permission Slip” drink, which contains vodka, pea flower, cucumber iced tea, and lemonade! They also have a variety of sweet cocktails such as the “Frozen Creamsicle Gin Fizz.” Ramona is the perfect bar to get some drinks to go!

The Moonlight Mile

The Moonlight Millie is the perfect Greenpoint bar for all of you whiskey fans out there. It offers over 200 different American whiskeys, 12 craft beers on tap (selections rotated) and over 12 whiskey based cocktails and a diverse range of wines.

It’s no secret why this bar has earned 5 stars on Yelp with over 75 positive reviews. It’s nothing but good vibes when you’re in The Moonlight Mile. I mean, who doesn’t love a bar with a jukebox! And when taking a look at the menu, you can tell right off the bat just how incredible this bar really is.

The beer menu is stock full of 12 different amazing selections that are rotated seasonally. They offer so many amazing cocktails such as a classic Manhattan or Old Fashioned! Not one for a cocktail? Try out their delicious wine! There’s something for everyone at this whiskey Greenpoint bar!

We are two weeks in to this new way of operating in these trying times. We unfortunately have our 2nd rain out today. However, we would like to thank everyone who has stopped by, bought libations, tipped our crew well, bought merch and overall been happy to see us back at it. We look forward to safely serving you and continuing to spread the mile karma tmrw and Sunday. Broken Land

One of my favorite things about this next bar is its outdoor patio. Located on Franklin Street in Greenpoint, Broken Land has become a staple for the neighborhood. Although the interior is just as cool as hanging on the back patio, Broken Land is not yet open for indoor dining.

Broken Land is a classic neighborhood cocktail bar. Their garden is currently open and tables are available at a first come, first served basis. But, don’t worry – if you can’t grab a seat, then have a to-go window which allows you to order and grab your drinks right from the sidewalk!

Their drink menu has such variety, offering everything from cocktails to canned drinks. And at a pretty good price too! Most of the cocktails for $12, with cans and drafts ranging from $6-8! It’s your perfect go-to neighborhood cocktail bar!

Black Rabbit

Next up on the list is one of the hottest Greenport Bars. Located on Greenpoint Ave. is the Black Rabbit, a local pub and a great place to grab drinks! It’s the perfect place to go if you’re looking for cozy, moody vibes!

The decor of this bar is absolutely perfect, featuring not only a fireplace, but also a fun selection of board games to play! And to add on top of that, the Black Rabbit has a great (and usually very busy) trivia night! Enjoy a seat in the beer garden while you’re there!

It wouldn’t be right if there wasn’t a proper happy hour at the Black Rabbit! They offer a variety of discounted drinks everyday until 8 P.M! Their menu features a variety of house cocktails and a great selection of beer and wine! There’s no excuse for you not to try the Black Rabbit the next time you’re looking for a Greenpoint bar!

Greenpoint Beer & Ale

Greenpoint Beer & Ale has officially moved into its new location as of Spring 2019! After moving locations to Manhattan Ave, the bar is now able to increase its brewing capacity to 4 times the amount that it was at before! Because of this, they are finally going to be able to mix around with different ideas and offer a wider selection of brews to their customers!

Another great addition that came with the view was the roofdeck, which is the perfect place to grab drinks with friends! They also have a new kitchen, features typical brewery foods such as pretzels and sausages! So, be sure to grab a bite to eat while you’re at this amazing Greenpoint bar!

Located at: 1150 Manhattan Ave, Brooklyn, NY 11222
