St Augustine Roman Catholic Church
Located in Park Slope, Brooklyn, St Augustine Roman Catholic Church is one of the most beautiful churches in all of Brooklyn. It’s architecture includes picturesque stained glass windows and enormous cathedral ceilings. Not to mention, a comfortable and engaging environment.
Whether you are just a visitor or looking for a new house of worship, St. Augustine is such a lovely space. According to the church’s parishioners, there has been nothing but warm and inviting feelings coming from this church in Brooklyn.

St. Ann & The Holy Trinity Church
Saint Ann & The Holy Trinity Church in 1969 when St. Ann’s Church moves into the former Holy Trinity Church just a couple blocks away. It became a local landmark shortly after.
The stained glass windows located inside of the building were created by William Jay Bolton, the first artist to manufacture stained glass windows in the United States. The church also has an E.M Skinner organ, which is actually the largest one in New York City! It’s a really amazing place to visit if you ever get the opportunity.

Grace Church
Located in Brooklyn Heights, Grace Church is another must-see church in Brooklyn. Since it was started in 1847, it’s doors are always open and will be for some time to come.
If you’re a big fan of architecture, then you will be so intrigued by the overall structure of this church. In fact, it was cited as an NYC landmark building. It also has been noted to have one the most “mature” Gothic designs in New York City!

Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph
Just looking at the outside of the church will give you goosebumps. The Co-Cathedral of St. Joseph was built in was founded in 1850 and completed in 1912 in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn.
The Co-Cathedral of St. Joesph was built in the Spanish Colonial style in order to replace a previous church that was built in 1861. Although the exterior is gorgeous, the interior is just as magnificent. Dome ceilings and arches fill the 1500 capacity building, making it a truly spiritual experience.

Flatbush Dutch Reformed Church
Flatbush is definitely not what it used to be. It has become more contemporary with an all around hustle and bustle feel.
However, Flatbush Dutch Reformed Church has remained the same since it was finished being built in 1798. The church was actually listed on the National Register of Historical Places in 1983.
Most Holy Trinity-St. Mary Catholic Church
For over 177, Most Holy Trinity-St. Mary’s has served its surrounding Williamsburg community. The church was built in 1841 and focuses on the fulfilling the needs of New York immigrants!
One of the most beautiful things about this church are the cathedral cutouts in the wall. They really add such a beautiful presence in combination with the gorgeous stained glass windows! It’s a must-see.

St. Barbara’s Roman Catholic Church
Located in the Bushwick-Ridgewood community is the Church of St. Barbara’s. Built in 1910 by the architecture firm Helmle and Huberty, it is a Roman Catholic parish church in Brooklyn.
This beautiful structure is almost ethereal. With towering arches and glass dome ceilings, you feel as though you’re in a palace.

Plymouth Church
This next church in Brooklyn is quite interesting. Plymouth Church, located in Brooklyn Heights is a historic church in Brooklyn. It has been a National Historic Landmark since 1966 and is part of the Brooklyn Heights historic district.
When it comes to its architecture, Plymouth Church is located in a barn-like building and its pews are facing in an arc, similar to that of an ampitheater. The church later installed stained glass windows designed by J&R Lamb Studios, completed in 1909.

St. Francis Xavier
St. Francis Xavier Brooklyn has been serving its community since it offered its first mass on September 19th, 1886. It is located inn a towering structure on 6th Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn.
Although many churches are located in this area, this is the one to stand out for sure. Because of it’s historic significance, it’s the home and church of many in the area and will continue to be for years to come!
