When it comes to finding the best burger around, it can be hard to find the perfect one for you! Sometimes you may find that a burger can be too overcooked or have too many toppings! However, look no further, because here some of the best burgers Brooklyn has to offer!
The Best Burgers In Town
If it’s your first time visiting a restaurant, sometimes it’s vital to check online reviews before going! After all, there are food critics for a reason! It’s their job to give you the rundown on the best food around. And, as previously mentioned, New York has some of the best food in the world!
1) Peter Luger Steak House
Although you may normally decide to go for the steak when eating at a restaurant like Peter Luger, you may be pleasantly surprised if you switch things up and try the burger! After all, it has been voted by both Thrillist and Yelp as one of the best burgers Brooklyn has!
The Peter Luger Burger is made of prime grade chunk, which is the key to starting off a good burger! To make things even better, the sesame seed bun is sourced from a local bakery, giving your taste buds top tier treatment!
2) BK Jani
According to Trip Advisor, this next burger joint was voted one of New York City’s best burger joints in 2017! Located on Knickerbocker Avenue in Brooklyn, it is owned and operated by Sibte Hassan!
Sibte is actually a self-taught chef, who had little experience in the culinary industry prior to the restaurant. These perfectly seasoned burgers that the restaurants serve have earned itself a place as one of the most iconic burger joints in New York City!
3) Reynard
This next restaurant is another favorite among online reviews! Reynard, which is apart of the Wythe Hotel in Brooklyn has some of the best food around! Not only does it have a variety of amazing options, but it has one of the best burgers Brooklyn has!
With the food being cooked over a wood fire, the menu ranges from dishes like roasted cauliflower, and of course, an amazing burger! It’s a true success story when it comes to Reynard, especially when it comes to it’s online success!
4) Emily
If you’ve ever heard or been to Emily, then you may be surprised to see it on my list! Emily, which is a popular restaurant in Brooklyn, is actually known for its wood-fired pizzas! However, it happens to serve one of the best burgers Brooklyn has to offer!
Also part of Emmy Squared (which we will talk about next), this pizza restaurant is owned and operated by couple Matt and Emily Hyland! Named after Emily, this restaurant and the yummy Emmy burger is sure to be a delicious surprise!
5) Emmy Squared
As I just previously mentioned, Emily is apart of the popular restaurant group that includes another iconic place! Emmy Sqaured is a Detroit style pizza restaruant, which, once again, also happens to have one of the best burgers in town!
However, this time the burger is being named after the husband of the duo, Matt! The Le Big Matt is comprised of double grass head patties, American cheese, their special Sammy sauce, greens, and pickles all served on a toasted ketchup bun!
6) Juanchi’s Burger
When it comes to classic American style food, what I like to always say is “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!” And that seems to be the case when it comes to Juanchi’s Burger located on 1st street in Williamsburg!
With a menu ranging from salads to chicken sandwiches, the one thing that Juanchi’s prides itself on is its burgers! Ranging from a class plain cheeseburger to a yummy veggie, Juanchi’s Burger offers so many different tastes for many different taste buds!
7) two8two Bar and Burger
This next restaurant, two8two, stepped up to the plate and did not disappoint! Don’t believe me? Well, it has been voted to have some of the best burgers Brooklyn and NYC have to offer by The Food Network!
If that doesn’t convince you enough to try it out, just listen to some of the burger options featured on their menu! All topped with the special two8two sauce, the menu ranges from a mouth watering double cheeseburger to options like lamb and turkey burgers!
8) Grindhaus
This next restaurant, although fairly new, has managed to make its way onto many different lists and online reviews in a positive way! Founded in 2008, it was started by former music publicist and former dominatrix Erin Norris!
With over a 4-star review on both Yelp and trip advisor, it’s no secret that Grindhaus is doing something right! Originally started as a sausage restaurant, the menu also features none other than a gourmet burger as well!
9) Brooklyn Burgers & Beers
This next restaurant, Brooklyn Burgers & Beers, has earned nothing but praise from its customers! Earning over a 4.5 rating in food, service, and value, they’ve also made it to many lists and online reviews!
Prepare your taste buds for some of the best food Brooklyn has to offer! Their menu ranges from wings, skinny fries and even Beyond meat options for all you vegetarians and vegans out there!
10) The Long Island Bar
For over 55 years, The Long Island Bar has been one of the nicer, more upscale cocktail bars located on Atlantic Street in Brooklyn!
Although you may normally think to only stop in for a couple of drinks, The Long Island Bar actually has a pretty great dinner menu! With options such as octopus and grilled trout, their L.I Burger has caught the eye of many different food critics and reviewers!
11) Red Hook Tavern
Red Hook Tavern has earned its name on the lists of sites such as NY Eater and The Infatuation! Named for it’s location, Red Hook Tavern is located on Van Brunt Street in Red Hook, Brooklyn!
Their dry aged cheeseburger truly did not come to disappoint! Not only does their menu feature their iconic burger, you can also order dishes such as fish and chips, kale salad or a side of potato wedge french fries!
