There are so many famous artists out there that are known for…well, we don’t even know. It seems like our social media is filled with these “artists” that became famous overnight because of pure luck. So, why are we still fawning over these no-talent celebs that are stealing the spotlight from artists that actually deserve it?
We’re here to call out these fake artists and set the record straight. Because, seriously, we need to stop giving these “artists” the attention they’re craving from us.
Here are 9 new-age artists that are famous for no good reason:
Kevin Federline
Ok, seriously, why are we still hearing about this guy? Kevin is only famous because he’s the father of Britney’s two sons. He was originally a back-up dancer for Britney, so we’re sure he has some moves. But, all we ever hear about is his relation to our pop princess. So, really he has Britney to thank for his fame.
Farrah Abraham
Farrah Abraham is the queen of drama. And, she has a super sh*tty attitude, so why are we even giving her the energy? This Teen Mom OG star has been on and off the show multiple times because of her illicit behavior and bad demeanor. Can we really call an amatuer porn star a famous artist?
Nicole Richie
Alright, Nicole, like we know you’re mostly famous because your father is Lionel Richie. But, you do have some credits surrounding your name such as fashion designer, reality star, and professional socialite. We loved laughing at you in The Simple Life, but why are we still seeing updates on your life? Go off-the-grid, girl.
Amber Rose
Amber Rose was a total overnight sensation. But, should we really be calling her a famous artist? To be honest, we know her sparkling smile not because she was an aspiring model and actress, but because she is Kanye West’s former girlfriend. Pretty sure he mentioned making her famous in one of his songs.
The Kardashians
This whole family is famous for no apparent reason. Like, there are so many more talented artists that should be stealing the spotlight. However, we live in a world where Kim K, Kourtney, and Khloe bog our social media with gossip, drama, and material that is obsolete. We live in a Kardashian world, for sure.
Josh Duggar
We are not sure if we would all Josh Duggar a famous artist, but he made the list because he is a reality-TV star with major news-worthy drama. Josh is a member of the Duggar clan who starred in 19 Kids and Counting. And, in 2015, Josh was accused of molesting five underage girls, four of them being his siblings. This heavy piece of news is still getting coverage on our timelines.
Rebecca Black
Wow! How could we ever forget about Miss Rebecca Black? She became a sensation overnight with her release of “Friday” because it was…so cringe-worthy. But, we still couldn’t keep it out of our heads. So, is that a win for RB or a lose?

Our beloved Snooki and the rest of the Jersey Shore crew are definitely considered famous artists because of their lovable and outlandish antics on the famed reality show.
