One day little Aisha took off her SOS necklace. It was a performance day when she learned she had to put away her butterfly necklace to wear the matching statement neckpiece. She trusted her BFF Shyla as she took it off her neck and kept it inside her locker.
Aisha’s Best Friend Shy
Aisha’s best friend was a genius Sagittarian girl who was geek and sassy. She helped her deal with nepotism and the culture shock in the school, so she thought Shy could be trusted with life. Little did she know, her best friend too envied her powers. Shy was lonely and failed to pull a crowd like Aisha, and that made her slightly jealous of her.
The moment Aisha went to the green room, Shy crept to her locker and took out the butterfly necklace. She knew the locker of the little girl and the combination very well, and she knew what to do with it. She put it on immediately and headed towards the gym class to summon Aisha’s all-powerful Grandma and be a part of the popular squad. Shy’s dusky skin was a problematic factor, and her famous smartie sister made her feel even more inferior.
The Moment of Revelation
The moment Shy put on the necklace, weird things began to happen. There were thunderstorms and flashes, and Aisha sensed something was wrong. But she was in the middle of her performance and couldn’t leave the stage.
Shy put on the butterfly necklace and felt weak inside. But, she was excited nevertheless to be able to visualize herself as the queen of the famous club. But, soon, she felt some whiskers on her face and was starting to feel worried now. She kept wishing for her dreams, and a tiny bump-like tail appeared from her spinal cord. She got scared this time. Meanwhile, Aisha finished her performance and rushed to find Shy as she found her locker open. It was a weird phenomenon for Shy did lock it up, but it lay wide open.
Little did Shy know, the necklace was meant for only Aisha and nobody else. It was because Aisha never wanted to use it for her greed. She was exactly like Harry Potter, and the necklace was like a sorcerer’s stone.
Aisha Saves Her Best Friend
Aisha was shocked to find that her BFF had turned her back on her. She was heartbroken and awestruck, but she knew this wasn’t the best time to moan for her lost friend. Family came first for Aisha, and she knew she had to find Shyla.
After relentless chase and pursuits, Aisha finally found a crybaby outside the open theater complex. The moment she saw Aisha, she burst out loudly, ‘Please forgive me, Aisha!’ she managed to utter. Aisha gestured toward her, and she handed back her necklace. But, instead of putting it on, Aisha took out her wooden sword and slammed hard the butterfly necklace in two halves. Viola! There was a thunderstorm again, and Shyla returned to her original form. She kissed the broken necklace, handed the half to Shy, and put her other half inside a glass box. “Here, keep this half and remember, you are loved and blessed. You don’t need any extra power because you are more than enough,” and she marched bravely into the theater again—this time, without any necklace.
Everyone in the theater cheered for her ‘Hip Hip Hurray!’ ‘Hip Hip Hurray!’ and the final one came from her best friend Shy, ‘Hip Hip Hurray!’
She learned her lesson- Curiosity has always killed the cat. So, one has to focus on their growth instead of regarding someone else’s growth.
