Finn Cole is a famous British actor. He is relatively well-known for his role in the popular shows Peaky Blinders and Animal Kingdom. Finn Cole’s Early Life
Finn Cole was born on the 9th of November in the year 1995. He was born in Kingston, London, England. Finn’s father worked on building and repairing boats to make them seaworthy. Growing up, Finn was part of a very large family. He had five brothers! Finn Cole was the second youngest of all of the Cole brothers. When he was a little bit older, Finn attended Esther College in England.
When Cole was a child he wanted to grow up to work on boats just like his father did all of his life. He ended up changing his mind and taking a different career path, but this is still a very sweet passion of his. Interestingly enough, his family still played a large part in his current career path.
His Acting Career
In 2012, Finn Cole’s acting career officially began. His older brother, Joe convinced him to be an extra in a film Joe was in titled, Offender. He played a riot boy. Just two years later, Joe got Finn to act again, but this time in the popular show, Peaky Blinders. Joe sent Finn Cole the script for the audition and Finn really enjoyed it. He was unsure about auditioning however because he was in college and could not afford a train ticket. Finn was living in London and the open audition was in Birmingham. So Joe offered to give a taped audition of Finn to his agent to see if that would work, and it definitely did!
Since his breakout role in Peaky Blinders, Finn Cole has joined the cast of the TV show Animal Kingdom. This show is currently running its final season. He has also acted in a handful of movies throughout his career. His most recent movie role was in the Fast & Furious franchise. He played young Jakob in F9: The Fast Saga. He was also in Dreamland, Here Are The Young Men, and Slaughterhouse Rulez.
Finn Cole Loved Working With Margot Robbie
When Finn Cole acted in the thriller film, Dreamland, he acted alongside the talented and Oscar-nominated actress, Margot Robbie. While Finn is normally confident going into new acting roles, he felt really nervous for this one. He says this was due to how talented he finds Margot Robbie.
Luckily though, as soon as he met her he felt more comfortable. Finn Cole said that she was incredibly kind and welcoming to him from the very first day that they met. He strongly believes that she made him a better actor. The British actor says that Margot Robbie listened to him and taught him a ton while working together.
His Role In Peaky Blinders
Finn Cole played Michael Gray on the hit show Peaky Blinders. This character was introduced in the second season of the already popular show. He was a cousin of the Shelby siblings and incredibly smart and calculating. He easily slid into an antagonistic role in the TV show.
Finn’s older brother, Joe, was also in this show. Joe Cole was, however, killed off in 2017. When the incredibly popular show ended earlier this year, Finn Cole expressed how sad he was on his social media. He posted several behind-the-scenes photos with a heartbroken emoji. The end of this beloved show was the end of this incredible chapter of his life.
Finn Cole On Animal Kingdom
In 2016, Finn Cole began acting as Joshua “J” Cody in the show Animal Kingdom. He appears in every episode of the show as he is one of the four main characters of the series. This show is coming to an end soon, and many fans are very excited to see how J Cody’s story concludes. He begins as a protagonist in the series. J Cody is a fairly complex character. Finn Cole portrays a man who has a lot of complicated attachment issues. His character also often struggles to remain faithful.
Finn Cole is a very talented young actor. He clearly has a passion for his profession and it runs in the family. From Peaky Blinders to Animal Kingdom he has had a lot of wonderful roles. Finn Cole is definitely an actor to keep an eye on.
