From Shane Dawson to Eugenia Cooney to Gabbie Hanna, YouTube has no shortage of controversial figures. One such character is the infamous Trisha Paytas (Trisha goes by they-them pronouns). Trisha Paytas’ porn career has recently landed them in yet another controversy.
Trisha’s YouTube Career
Trisha was born in 1988 and they joined YouTube in 2007. Trisha Paytas has had some significant ups and downs throughout their time on the video-based social media platform. Many viewers know them for trolling and constantly trying to stay relevant on the site by stirring up controversies. From their public feud with Gabbie Hanna to their friendship break-up with Shane Dawson, Trisha Paytas is no stranger to being talked about on the internet.
Trisha also had a run on a very successful podcast with Ethan Klein called Frenemies. In this, they had tons of fights while calling out various influencers. In June of 2021, the podcast ended in a huge and very public fight between the co-hosts. Recently, Trisha has gone back to making ASMR videos (this used to be some of their most popular content). They also currently make pregnancy vlogs and mindfulness content.
Trisha Paytas’ Porn on OnlyFans

Around two years ago, Trisha Paytas started an OnlyFans account. No one was particularly surprised by this decision. They have always been a sex-positive creator. They have even written a book called The Stripper Diaries. Trisha Paytas’ porn typically only includes themselves. Trisha Paytas’s porn career on OnlyFans actually started off with a scandal.
They signed up through a referral link, which means that the owner of the link would get a portion of Trisha’s porn earnings for the first year that Trisha was on OnlyFans. However, when they learned that a portion of their first-year earnings would not go to them, Trisha suddenly was removed from the referral program. This upset a lot of people as they felt it showed OnlyFans favoring Trisha Paytas over smaller creators.
Trisha Paytas’ porn is very lucrative. Trisha has said in the past that they make up to one million dollars a month on OnlyFans. Some smaller OnlyFans creators had expressed resentment towards larger creators like Trisha creating accounts. While this stance may be understandable, Trisha Paytas is unlikely to care.
Paytas-Hacmon Family Channel
Earlier this year, Trisha Paytas and their new husband, Moses Hacmon, announced that they are pregnant with their first child. Many people were supportive and congratulated the couple. However, far more criticized this move. People commented hateful things on their pregnancy announcement. Many said that Trisha would be a terrible mother to any child.
A few months later, Trisha and their husband rebranded one of their channels to the “Paytas-Hacmon Family Channel” in preparation for their new child. Many criticized this decision as family channels are often exploitative of the children in them. While many don’t mind children occasionally appearing in vlogs, the problem comes when a child is the sole or main focus of the vlog. People were quick to point out that during their time on Frenemies, Trisha expressed their distaste towards family channels calling them problematic and unethical. Despite this hypocrisy, Trisha has continued posting pregnancy videos to this channel in preparation for their child.
The Recent Controversy

Earlier this year, a pregnant Trisha Paytas shared a topless photo of themselves on their Twitter account as a way to promote their OnlyFans account. The photo was partially censored and Trisha told people that they could find the fully uncensored photos on their OnlyFans account. Then, on March 26th, they posted another topless photo where they held their stomach. This photo was posted with the caption “Cue incoming sex work shaming because I’m a mom comments…” The internet had some incredibly mixed reactions over this.
On one hand, people were upset. They accused Trisha of sexualizing their pregnancy. People said that their currently unborn kid would be bullied for content like this. Some accused Trisha of making porn with their unborn child who cannot consent to it (as opposed to just making porn with only herself). Some were more on the fence saying that making porn while pregnant was not an issue, but holding your stomach while doing so was, as this sexualized the pregnancy itself.
However, on the other side of the argument, many sex workers completely had Trisha’s back. Some shared personal stories on Twitter about people judging them for making sexual content despite having kids. Others were just supportive of the move saying that there is no issue with moms being sex workers.
Is Trisha Paytas’ Porn Offensive?
Frankly, out of all the things that they have done throughout the years, continuing Trisha Paytas’ porn career throughout their pregnancy is perhaps one of the least offensive. Sex workers of all levels of popularity receive hate for anything and everything they do especially if they are mothers. However, concern over the incoming family channel and how their child’s peers will treat them are incredibly valid.
