Elaine was an only child who attended church with her parents every Sunday. She was very athletic in high school. Elaine was particularly fond of playing soccer.
Elaine Starchuk always wanted to be a supermodel. Before she even started this career she underwent breast enlargement surgery. She was so passionate about this dream that she began modeling as early as 18 years old. At the time, she quit school and started working with a modeling agency in Vancouver, Canada.
Shortly after the beginning of her career as a model, she would move to the United States of America and started working for Playboy Magazine as a playboy bunny. Elaine would start to be recognized from working at Playboy and living at the Playboy Penthouse.
Elaine Starchuk and Her Marriage to Tommy Lee
Tommy Lee is a famous musician. He is well known for being the long-term drummer and one of the founders of the popular heavy metal band, Mötley Crüe. He has been married several times. The man has been married a total of four times, most recently in 2019. However, his first wife was Elaine Starchuk.
Tommy Lee was two years older than Elaine. Elaine’s modeling career was just taking off at the same time Tommy Lee’s band started to become more popular. She had some involvement with other members of the band but ended up dating Lee for two years. No one was surprised when the two announced that they were getting married in 1984. However, after only seven days of marriage, the two decided to get a divorce. Nowadays we are so used to celebrities having incredibly short marriages, but at the time this came as a shock to many.
An exact reason for the quick split of the couple is not known. Some believe that he might have abused her due to abuse allegations against him from his later wives. Others posit that Elaine had stabbed Tommy with a pen. This claim is based on a moment from the 2019 Mötley Crüe biographical drama, The Dirt. Her Injuries From A Car Accident
In 2013, Elaine Starchuk, unfortunately, suffered from a tragic accident. She was simply standing unsuspectingly at the counter of a store in Vancouver, Canada. All of a sudden, a car crashed into the store, pushing Elaine into a wall and crumbling the drywall that was around her.
Elaine was one of several victims in this car accident. It was later reported that an older man had been driving the car before he lost control of it. Elaine Starchuk suffered several injuries from this crash. She had broken ribs, an implant came off, and she suffered from PTSD and chronic pain afterward in her hands, neck, and shoulders. She ended up suing for damages and being awarded $440,000 by the court.
Elaine Starchuk’s Recent Career Moves
Elaine Starchuk has done more than modeling in her professional life. Over the years she has become very talented at applying makeup. So much so, that she started her own eyelash production company called Enlightened Lashes. She is this company’s founder and CEO. Elaine started this eyelash-focused company in the early 2000s. She started this company with the goal of doing something on her own and for herself.
She even started a beauty school called Enlightened Eyelash Academy. Her goal with this school was to teach others the ins and outs of eyelash extensions. She has had several famous models, celebrities, and actors as clients including Avril Lavigne. Elaine even worked on the set of Transformers to help with makeup.
Elaine Starchuk has led a very busy life. She knew she wanted to be a model ever since she was a child watching models on TV or seeing them in magazines.
