Darius McCrary is a 45-year-old singer, rapper, producer, and American actor of African-American descent. He was born on 1st May 1976 in Walnut, California. The actor is the older brother of the actor Donovan McCrary and the son of the Grammy-nominated gospel/jazz musician and composer Howard McCrary. He grew up trying to make a name for himself in the showbiz industry under the guidance of his father.
McCrary kicked off his acting career at eleven years of age in 1987. This is when he took on his main act in the comedy-adventure film Big Shots. He was also featured in the crime thriller film Mississippi Burning, which received several awards nominations, including the Oscars, British Academy Film Awards, and Political Film Society Award, the following year. His role in both films landed him nominations for the Youngest Artist Award in the two consecutive years. Subsequently, Family Matters also bagged him the same nominations for the next three years, making it a total of five nominations in a row.
McCrary first appeared on television as a guest in the TV shows Amen, Hooperman, and What’s Happening Now!! However, his acting career took a leap when he got into the ABC/CBS television sitcom Family Matter. He took on the role of Eddie Winslow, the oldest child of Carl and Harriette Winslow.
While McCrary appeared in other television series and films, such as Kidz in the Wood, among others, but his most successful works comprise Family Matters and Transformers, which have attracted several nominations and awards.

McCrary is also a renowned soap opera star from 2009 until now. At this time, he currently plays Malcolm Winters in the CBS daytime drama The Young and the Restless.

His Personal Life
McCrary married and divorced three women, Juliette Vann (2005-2006), Karrine Steffans (2009-2011), and Tammy Brawner (2014). He had one of his children with Brawner, who openly accused him of physical violence against their child and herself. McCrary dismissed the claims as wrongful and false.
