He attended high school at Gonzaga College High School. Located in Washington D.C, this was a private Catholic all-boys prep school.
He graduated from high school in 1996. After graduating from high school, Brain Hallisay went to college. He ended up going to Cornell University, one of many well-known New York schools. Cornell is an Ivy League school in Ithaca New York. He graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in 2000.
His Career Before Acting
While he is very well-known for his successful acting career, Brian Hallisay had an entirely different career before becoming an actor. After he graduated from Cornell University he ended up staying in New York for a while to work on Wall Street. As a child and teenager, he gained an interest in the subjects of history and economics. He thought that these subjects would lead to more practical job opportunities than the fine arts. So he studied these subjects during his time at college.
He ended up becoming a fairly successful investment banker for a few years after graduating. He has said in interviews that he really enjoyed this job. However, he also felt that he was slaving away day in, day out for this job. He eventually decided to pursue his childhood dream of becoming an actor. Along with this career change he ended up moving to Los Angeles, California. While this was a drastic shift in his career path, it ended up being a very smart one. His Relationship With Jennifer Love Hewitt
Apart from his acting credentials, many know of Brian Hallisay due to his marriage with Jennifer Love Hewitt. The two of them met in 2011 while on set together for an NBC pilot. In 2012, while playing exes on The Client List, the two got to know each other better. They started dating before getting married in late 2013. Together they have had three children, Autumn James, Atticus James, and Aidan James.
The couple has a very supportive relationship. In interviews, Jennifer Love Hewitt has mentioned that whenever she is freaking out about something, Brian Hallisay will give her a supportive pep talk to help calm her down. The Acting Career of Brian Hallisay
In 2005, Brian Hallisay’s acting career officially began. His first two roles were in Strong Medicine and The Inside. Both of these were fairly popular television shows in the early 2000s. These roles launched his career. The Inside was a Fox show that gave him the opportunity to act opposite famous actors, Adam Baldwin, and Rachel Nichols. On the other show, Strong Medicine (a Lifetime show) he acted alongside Patricia Richardson.
For the next three years, Brian Hallisay would appear in one-off episodes of various television shows. In 2008, he was officially cast in his first big role. He was cast as Will Davis in Privileged. This character was a flirtatious and wealthy single man. He was on this show from 2008 to 2009. A few years later, in 2012, he was cast in The Client List. He was cast as the character Kyle Parks. Kyle was going to play professional football before he suffered an injury.
Brian Hallisay is a very successful actor. He has stuck mostly to acting in television shows.
