On July 14th, Rihanna’s new skincare line came up to the surface. Following her success with Savage x Fenty and Fenty Beauty, Rihanna is ready to shake up the beauty industry. Fenty Beauty dropped the first campaign video, starring A$AP Rocky, Lil’ Nas X, Halima Aden, and Paloma Elsesser, The gender-neutral and inclusive beauty products are dropping exclusively on July 31st at its official site. It gives early access to shop for the people who sign up for email subscription.

On social media, Fenty Skin previewed three products: Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser, Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner Serum, and Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen. These “Fenty Skin Start’rs” are two-in-one products that will simplify your skincare routine. What’s better than these natural multitasking beauty products? They are vegan, clinically tested and environmentally conscious. Her main goal for Fenty Skin line was to “make them better than everything” from the products she has used before.

Total Cleans’r Remove-It-All Cleanser

First on the list is the two-in-one non-comedogenic cleanser removes makeup, dirt, oil without drying out your skin. This oil-free cleanser prevents shine and purifies pores for all skin types. The ingredients are Barbados cherry, ginkgo blob, green tea, fig, and quince. What does each ingredient do? Barbados cherry, or acerola, is an antioxidant full of Vitamin C more than an orange. Ginkgo Biloba prevents excessive oil with deep cleansing. Green tea and fig are another well-known antioxidant ingredients that are used a lot in many beauty products. Quince is a fruit that is filled with minerals to prevent breaking out. Packaged in a sleek lilac-colored tube, the total cleanser is $25.

Fat Water Pore-Refining Toner + Serum

Next is the alcohol-free two-in-one toner-serum, which is a true multitasker as well. Fenty Skin especially emphasizes that this product does not need cotton pads, meaning that the customers can directly pour the product into their hands to apply and saving disposable wastes. The ingredients for this product include Niacinamide, Barbados cherry, Australian lemon myrtle, witch hazel water, Japanese raisin tree, cactus flower, green tea, and fig. Like the name of this product, the Fat Water has a thick texture that will help dark spot treatment, increase even skin tone, and diminish excessive oil. Niacinamide is a type of Vitamin B3, and Australian myrtle also helps pore refinement. Japanese raisin tree will detoxify, and cactus flower will hydrate your skin. This toner has everything you need.

Hydra Vizor Invisible Moisturizer + SPF

Looking for a moisturizer with SPF is not an easy journey on top of finding the perfect sunscreen that won’t mess up your makeup in summer. But Rihanna got you covered. This (more!) two-in-one moisturizer has SPF 30 protection while boosting brightness and refining pores at the same time. The cream in light pink will leave no white residue all over your face and will not ruin your makeup afterward. The essence of this coral-reef friendly moisturizer is the ingredients that will make your age lines and wrinkles less visible. It has Kalahari melon, Niacinamide, hyaluronic acid, aloe and, baobab. These ingredients will soothe, hydrate and refine your skin with antioxidants and vitamins.

Why People Are Loving Fenty Skin Already

Fenty Skin focuses on three keywords that Rihanna has been focusing on for all of her brands: earth-conscious, inclusive for all skin types, and gender-neutral. She has been the pioneer in making people in every skin color feel beautiful with her extending influence as a pop icon. In her exclusive interview on Fenty Skin’s YouTube channel, Rihanna recalls her frustration in the beauty market where there is a gap between accessibility and excellent products to people. Her inspiration was to create skincare products that people deserve.

“I wanted a product that just worked. More than anything, that was just the most important thing for me. Something that worked for everyone. I want the best ingredients, and I didn’t want to cost a lot.”
