Whether you consider them famous, infamous, or nefarious, the fact is a large portion of the public, primarily children, can not seem to get enough of Jake Paul or Julia Rose. When the pair hooked up and became an on-again-and-off-again couple throughout 2020, their young fan base was titillated and glued to their screens. Not sure what I’m referring to? Getting to Know Jake Paul
Jake Joseph Paul was born on January 17, 1997, in Cleveland, Ohio, but grew up in Westlake, Ohio. He has been an internet personality, actor, YouTuber, and pro boxer. Jake first began his rise to fame on the social media platform Vine.
Jake would use his rising fame to land a role on the Disney Channel series Bizaardvark for two seasons. However, Jake’s YouTube antics would often depict the internet personality performing dangerous stunts and featuring inappropriate material for younger YouTube audiences. To avoid the controversy, Disney would go on to fire Jake.
Always looking for ways to expand his brand, Jake Paul has released several songs and music videos. His single It’s Everyday Bro would end up viewed over 70 million times. The song’s video would become the 3rd most disliked video on YouTube. Still, the song made its debut at number 91 on the Billboard Hot 100 list and would be certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of American, RIAA.
Despite his fame and success, Jake Paul is not without his share of controversies. It is a rather long list of complaints and accusations that follow the internet personality around;
He got in trouble with the Puerto Rican government for riding a motor vehicle on protected beaches, faced sexual assault allegations, inserted himself into a mall riot in Arizona, raided by the FBI, he has been accused of running financial scams aimed at his young audience, been hit with a few public nuisance lawsuits, etc.
For his part, Jake has denied many of the allegations, or apologized saying he meant no harm… so at least there’s that.
A Look at Julia Rose
Julia Rose was born on December 30, 1993, in New Orleans, Louisiana. However, she grew up in Texas. Before she found notoriety, Julia would bartend in Austin, Texa, and Los Angeles, California.
Since her bartending days, Julia has worked as an actress, model, reality television personality and is the founder of Shagmag. Shagmag is an online publication that runs features and photos of popular Instagram models. As a disclaimer, if you plan to check out the site, there is a prompt asking you to verify you are over the age of 18. Julia has also been featured on Are You the One?, an MTV reality show.
Julia’s popularity exploded during the 2019 World Series. In a move that was sure to make her dad proud, Julia and her friend Lauren Summer waited for the right moment and flashed their breasts on live television. The pair of young ladies claimed the act had been planned for some months and cost them many thousands of dollars for tickets to the game.
Despite being banned from all Major League Baseball stadiums, the pair were very proud of themselves and the act. Both would go onto social media, making statements like “guilty as charged” and “we did it, guys!” When asked if it was worth it and if they would do it again, the two responded with a resounding yes!
Jake Paul and Julia Rose’s Wild Relationship
Julia Rose and Jake Paul reportedly met on the set of his music video for the song These Days. Jake would make his relationship official with Julia via a vlog he posted around March 20, 2020. The couple would last until sometime in spring of that year. Jake, who was obviously distraught and not looking for attention, released this statement;
“I’m hungover, depressed and heartbroken because my girlfriend dumped me, because I’m a f—ing idiot. Julia, if you’re watching this please take me back. Guys, if you’re in a relationship, don’t take what you have for granted. “
The plea worked, and after a short stint with Harry Jowsey from Netflix’s Too Hot to Handle, Julia would get back with Jake.
Harry would say that it sucked, and he felt Julia had only used him as a way to get back with Jake Paul. He even went as far as to say that he would love a chance to box Jake. Seemingly unphased, Jake dismissed Harry’s talk as nothing more than Harry trying to make a name for himself.
Unfortunately, the roller coaster romance that started around March of 2020 would come to its final end in December of the same year. With Julia Rose stating that she was officially single.
Whew, what a journey! Jake Paul and Julia Rose seemingly were a match made in… well, they seemed perfect for each other! But sadly, fame and notoriety became too much for the young couple, and as 2020 mercifully came to an end, so did their relationship. Hopefully, someday soon, Jake and Julia will both find the people and relationships they deserve!
