Finding the perfect jeans is no easy task. I am constantly on the look-out for flattering jeans that fit my thighs, waist, and budget.

Mom jeans are a firm favorite when it comes to jeans. The high-waisted, flattering jeans were originally considered fashionable in the late 1980s and early 1990s and were named after the middle-aged women that wore them. Now, mom jeans are a versatile staple piece for all seasons, as they look great with a crop top or a tucked in t-shirt or sweater. Many TV fashion icons have favored the mom jeans throughout the years, from Rachel Green in Friends to the entire cast of Beverly Hills, 90210, who still hold influence today.

However, more recently, extra low-rise jeans have been pictured on stylish celebrities such as Emily Ratajkowski, where she paired them with a crop top to show off her amazingly toned stomach.
