Who Is Sarah Ramos?
Sarah Emily Ramos is a 30-year-old actress born on May 21, 1991, which makes her a Gemini. She was born and brought up in the city of Los Angeles, in California. While her mother follows the Jewish faith, her father is a part Filipino. It wasn’t too long, before the acting bug bit Sarah. Soon, she started taking her formal education in acting at Center Stage L.A.
At 11 years, young Sarah begged her parents to get an acting agent, and unlike a child’s whim will wake up in the morning inquiring about the quest for her parents to look for an agent. Eventually, she graduated from Columbia University in May 2015.
Her Acting Career
Sarah Ramos had started her acting career early by appearing in many television commercials. Eventually, she appeared on the television series running at NBC named American Dreams (2002–2005) as Patty Pryor. This role gained her a lot of appreciation, and her talent never went undermined. Variety even went on to state that Ramos was the perfect choice to play Patty as she fits the brat’s role. Sarah has garnered nominations for Young Artist Awards, and in 2003 she won the Best Actress award in winning the Women’s Image Network Award (WIN) in a T.V. Drama.
In Runaway, Sarah played the character of Hannah Radar. But the show got canceled only after running for one season in 2006. She has even guest-starred in multiple shows like Wizards of Waverly Place, Scrubs, Law & Order, and even Ghost Whisperer. Ramos has also appeared as Haddie Braverman in the NBC series Parenthood. However, she is no longer cast as a regular member and would appear only as a guest.
Ramos has also appeared in the movie The Perks of Being a Wallflower along with one of her co-stars from her Parenthood era Mae Whitman. She has written a short film called Fluffy in 2016, which she would eventually direct and star in while B. B. Dakota produced the movie. In 2011 she even voiced a character in the Family guy, thus making her career illustrious.
Is Sarah Ramos Dating Dylan O’Brien?
The rumor mill started churning when a video surfaced on the internet where Dylan and Sarah enacted a bit from The Social Network. People were soon to jump to conclusions, thinking that Sarah and Dylan were dating or quarantining together. But to everyone’s dismay, these were nothing but rumors. Sarah is happily married to the director Matt Spicer. The couple tied the knot in October 2020.
Owning Her Mature Side
Sarah is unapologetic when she discusses her thinking about women over-sexualizing their bodies for attention. She has opened up about how she refused to be one of the women who would be idolized for being the sex symbol and how she hid from the mass from getting turned into one. Only when she matured enough to realize that there are other ways to influence the mass and garner a viewership, she became comfortable shooting for something scintillating and charming to the audience and way out of her comfort zone. But she keeps reminding everyone that these images are not the whole truth but a part of her reality. There is much more to her which remains unknown to the mass.
With her career graph only skyrocketing and being one of the sought-after actresses in Hollywood, Sarah Ramos has grasped the Influencer world as well. She is an absolute idol to her fans and has an incredible body-positive approach to her life. Her experience is one of a kind, and she has never frayed from showing the world the ugly side of being an actor, which is why we applaud her life.
