Many people know about the famous comedian, Chris Rock. But what do they know about Andi Rock? Andi Rock is Chris Rock’s little sister, but who is she beyond that? How many other siblings do they have and what do they do? What were their parents like? Is Andi a professional comedian just like her oldest brother? Or does she have a different career path? Is she in a relationship and if so with who? Learn all of these answers and more below. Here is everything you need to know about the youngest Rock sibling (and only sister), Andi Rock.

Andi Rock’s Early Life

Andi Rock was born on the 19th of March in the year 1985. This would make her 37 years old as of this year. She was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York just like most of her other siblings. Andi is one of the youngest children in her immediate family. Julius Rock was Andi’s father. He was a truck driver who also worked as a deliveryman for newspapers. Unfortunately, he passed away when Andi was very young. He died in 1988 after receiving surgery for an ulcer.

Andi’s mother was Rosalie Rock. She was a teacher and a social worker for children with intellectual disabilities. More recently, Rosalie Rock was the host of The Mom Show. She has also published a book titled Mama Rock’s Rules: Ten Lessons For Raising A Household Of Successful Children. Despite losing her father at an incredibly young age, Andi Rock still had a strong male support system as she has several older brothers.

Andi Rock’s Oldest Brother

The oldest of Andi Rock’s brothers is none other than Chris Rock. Chris Rock was born on February 7th of the year 1965. He was actually born in South Carolina, though he and his parents quickly moved to New York. Chris was bullied a lot when he was a kid to the point where he completely dropped out of high school altogether (though he did later earn his GED). He has spoken a lot about the racial profiling that he has experienced at every point in his life no matter how successful he became.

In 1984, Chris Rock’s comedic career began. He performed at New York’s Catch a Rising Star comedy club. Chris did a stand-up routine that eventually caught the eye of Eddie Murphy who quickly became a mentor to Chris Rock. Soon after this, Andi Rock’s oldest brother started appearing in movies such as Beverly Hills Cop II and I’m Gonna Git You Sucka. Not long after that, he became a popular cast member on the beloved sketch comedy show, Saturday Night Live. He stayed on the show from 1990 to 1993. Ever since his career has only gotten bigger and bigger.

Who Are The Rest Of Her Siblings

Chris Rock is not Andi Rock’s only brother. In fact, she has 6 others. After Chris, their parents had Andre Rock. He was born in 1967 and he is one of the more private Rock siblings. Reportedly, he runs a trucking business called Julius Rock Trucking Inc (named after their late father). Next, they had Tony Rock in 1974. He went into comedy just like his older brother. Tony has been in All of Us, Everybody Hates Chris, and Living Biblically.

Next in the bunch is Brian Rock. Similar to Andre, he lives a more private lifestyle. He is believed to be a minister. After Brian, their parents had Kenny Rock. He was born in 1979 and has had a few acting roles himself. Kenny was in Vesuvius and Coincidental Killer. Andi was born after Kenny but after Andi, their final brother Jordan was born. He was born in 1991 and also has a career in comedy. Jordan has been in Love Life and Big Time Adolescence with Pete Davidson. The siblings also have an older half-brother, Charles, who died in 2006.

Her Professional Life

Unlike many of her older brothers (and younger brother), Andi Rock did not go into the entertainment industry. Currently, she lives in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Not much is known about her personal life. It is known that she works with children, just like her mother did while she was growing up. Andi Rock is a therapist. She specializes in working with children who have autism.

Andi Rock’s Relationship

In the mid-2010s, Andi Rock began dating her current partner, Brett Nelson. The couple loves to attend football games together. They ended up getting married to one another in mid-November 2020. They had a small ceremony together.

Andi Rock is one of many successful siblings. While she is not an entertainer, she is clearly just as passionate about her work as the rest of her siblings are about theirs. While Andi Rock and some of her other brothers live more private lives, all of the Rock siblings are very supportive of one another.
