It’s Christmas day! Listen to this while doing Christmassy things. From wrapping to eating to driving to wherever it is you’re celebrating the day.
We’re VERY excited about this and have a mix of upbeat and slower songs that are all Christmas related for whatever you’re up to. We have classics like Chris Rea’s Driving Home for Christmas, Bing Crosby’s White Christmas and Andy Williams’s It’s the Most Wonderful Time of The Year. And, although we made another Christmas playlist with Mariah Carey’s All I Want For Christmas is You, we are very aware that that isn’t her only festive song. So, we included Christmas (Baby Please Come Home).
As Elf is probably the best Christmas film The Nutcracker Suite also had to be part of the playlist. As did the Sugar Plum Fairy, from George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker soundtrack.
For a slightly more modern sound, we added Destiny’s Child’s 8 Days of Christmas. Doesn’t it feel like Christmas? Doesn’t it feel like Christmas?
Lastly, Sia’s slow and charming Underneath The Mistletoe. It’s strangely warning us of something, however much it’s lovely to listen to. And, the recently formed duo that has covered and released a few songs together, Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus’s Happy Xmas (War is Over).
Have a Merry Christmas, enjoy our playlist and have a wonderful New Year from NYGal!
