About Rome Flynn
Rome Flynn is a 29-year-old American actor, model, and musician of Afro-Cuban, Somali, and Irish heritage. He was born on the 25th of November 1991 in Springfield, Illinois, to a single parent Nickey Alexander. He grew up alongside his seven siblings in Springfield, Illinois.
Flynn graduated from Lanphier High School, where he played basketball, in 2010. He went off to college afterward on the scholarship he received from playing high school basketball. Flynn attended Benedictine University, where his talent was discovered as a part of a social media personality. He was a high fashion and runway model in Chicago before relocating to Los Angeles.
His Breathrough
Apart from his modeling talent, Flynn also sings and plays guitar. However, his social media personality paved the way for his acting career. He caught the attention of casting directors through his massive social media following. In 2014, he made cast into the sequel movie of the 2002 film Drumline, Drumline: A New Beat.
His breakthrough came in May 2015 when he joined the cast for the television series The Bold and the Beautiful. He played the role of Zende Forrester Dominguez. Flynn was also invited to other top-tier shows. Some of those include the popular ABC drama series How to Get Away with Murder which won him a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series.

He took to his social media to announce his choice to leave The Bold and the Beautiful after being in the show for two years in 2017. Flynn guest-starred in the episodes of the CBS crime dramas MacGyver and NCIS: New Orleans the same year. Later, he joined the cast of OWN’s drama series The Haves and the Have Nots, where he played RK.
Flynn was cast in 2021 for the second season of the Netflix series Raising Dion, where he plays Tevin Wakefield. He has also retained his recurring role of David in the Netflix series Dear White People. 2021 has been nice to him as he was also cast for the Amazon series, With Love, where he will play the modern Afro-Cuban American Mr. Darcy Santiago Zayas.

Although Flynn will not be in the new original Hallmark movie Crashing through the Snow, we still see him as the Christmas in July event is set to take a soapy twist. He will undoubtedly appear in the soap Sunday segment, which will air holiday films that will bring some of your favorite soap opera stars to your screens all day and night.

Flynn starred in the Hallmark Channel holiday film A Christmas Duet on the role of Jesse Collins in 2019. Besides his Jesse role, Flynn sings Wouldn’t be Christmas alongside Chaley Rose in the film. The film portrays Averie and Jessie as former partners brought together by fate during Christmas, and the season’s magic could make them closer to each other.

Flynn’s Personal Life
Rome Flynn Molly Noriko Hurley back in 2014, and they had a daughter together but unfortunately broke. Their daughter, Kimiko Flynn, is now six years old. He moved on in 2015 with the model Camia Marie and stayed in a relationship together for three years, after which they parted ways but kept reasons for their split private.
Currently, there is no public information regarding his love life apart from the alleged rumors of being gay. In the movie Drumline: A New Beat, Flynn played a gay character, Leon, which prompted his fanatics and critics to assert that he is gay. He is straight.
