Although some may find the matte finish of MAC lipsticks to be drying, it is my absolute favorite. This is my favorite of the three satin-finish lipsticks I own. In no way is it drying to the lips, and they feel extremely comfortable using it. One swipe is all you need because of the incredible pigmentation. 

It is the perfect shade of red for a reason: it is bright and vivid and complements most complexions. It has a very matte finish, so you have to prep your lips before applying it. stays on for almost 5 hours. but it does require a bit of reapplying.

Revlon Certainly Red: This lipstick is slightly orange-toned, has a glossy sheen, and is a medium-dark red with a little orange undertone. This lipstick is a permanent shade and sells for $8.49. It has a 0.15-ounce tube. medium-dark red with a glossy finish. It retails for $8.49 and contains 0.15 oz. The packaging isn’t the nicest or most high-end I’ve seen, but it’s adequate for a drugstore brand and doesn’t make the product appear cheap. After reading many reviews claiming that this lipstick was a decent dupe for MAC’s Ruby Woo, I think it is true.

The color coverage could be adjusted from medium to semi-opaque, but it always kept a little bit of translucency, giving it the impression of a stain. I found the lipstick to be somewhat more slippery than the majority of the other colors in the collection, despite its lightweight, softly creamy texture, and mild slide.
