There’s no need to pull a Bridesmaids scenario where you have to try and copy an expensive class from afar. These kick-butt workouts won’t cost you a cent.
1) The Sweat Sessions

From May 22 through the end of August, the Meatpacking Business Improvement District and Wellth Collective will be offering various free classes every Tuesday night, which include activities such as yoga, dance cardio, boxing, and pilates. Hang around afterwards for complimentary bites and sips from local businesses. RSVP up to a week in advance here.
2) The Rise

The early bird gets the worm and the workout with The Rise. No need to register for this one, simply show up for the 30 minute workout at 6:30 a.m. Treat yourself afterwards with a group visit to Martha’s Bakery.
3) Bryant Park Yoga
Midtown

Get your zen on at Bryant Park’s 16th Season of Outdoor Yoga Classes every Tuesday morning and Thursday night. The first 1,200 yogis to show up can borrow a mat from Gaiam, however, feel free to bring your own. You can even grab a Frequent Yogi card for freebies and discounts after your first ten classes.
4) Riverside HIIT

HIIT is the best way to burn fat, and you can do it for free every Tuesday night through October 30th. Bring your own mat and let Donald Calliste whip you into shape at Riverside Park.
5) Sunset Swing

Novices and expert dancers alike can unite at Hudson River Park’s Sunset Swing events. Beginners can show up at 6:30 for a free swing dance lesson and seasoned vets can show up for the Baby Soda Jazz Band at 7:15 PM. Check out the select available dates here to swing into summer.
