Now that the world is slowly opening back up from quarantine, it’s natural to want to get back into the swing of things. People want to get dressed and have a fun night on the town; Which is definitely understandable, we’ve been locked down for far too long. Events on this weekend will more than likely be home-based, but you’ll find other outlets to search when events do start to happen again.

Instagram especially has the go-to knowledge on the latest events. There are flyers for day parties, lounges, and clubs. This is a good starting point if you’re looking for a good time. Facebook is a good second stop to check for events, here you can even see your friends that are going or are interested in the same events you may want to attend. Twitter is just as useful, just type in a hashtag and a flood of events will be at your exposure, it’s really that simple.

This website is for events on this weekend and the “happenings” in your area. Even with the quarantine, there’s still a great deal of entertainment available. Today there will be free watch party of the documentary Free Trip to Egypt at 7 pm (EDT); This film depicts the journey that a group of travelers experience in Eygpt, starting with their expectations and ending with an entirely different perspective after meeting with Egyptians and submerging in their culture. Check out the trailer and you’ll be sold immediately, this is a must-see! I know I’ll be tuning in!

A lot of resources and events are available at your local library, and they all aren’t book related. You can find cooking classes, crochet classes, computer classes, and the list persists. Furthermore, they even have monthly pamphlets you can take that have all of the events for the month listed in detail. Whatever you’re looking for as far as entertainment in regards to events on this weekend, chances are the library as it, and if it isn’t free, it’s affordable.
