It’s hard to believe that Thanksgiving is next week. If you’re like me, you’ll be surrounded by family on this day. Others may spend the day with their friends having a fun Friendsgiving.

Whether you have Thanksgiving at home or a fancy restaurant nearby, there are certain appropriate looks to consider. From comfy to sexy, we have the best looks to wear to the Thanksgiving table.

Big Family Dinner At Home

If you plan on spending the day with your family, it’s important to be comfortable yet stylish. We all have those family members who love to criticize all day. You might have a rude aunt that talks about your job, or a grandma that talks about your weight. Don’t let your wardrobe be something to talk about unless it’s all good.

For the big family dinner, wear an oversized but stylish top. This way you can eat all the turkey you want without looking bloated. Pair it with some comfortable pants that stretch. Stay away from jeans on this holiday. Complete your look some of your favorite statement pieces and you’ll be the best-dressed person at the dinner table.

If you’re having a Friendsgiving, it’s alright to bum it a little bit. Your friends won’t judge you. You can hop out of bed and go straight to the table.

However, if you want to make it fun, throw on some cute pajamas. You all can wear matching PJs and take some amazing pics. Victoria’s Secret new loungewear is perfect for this occasion.

Meeting The Boyfriend’s Family

The first time meeting the parents is always nerve-wracking. Add on a holiday and it makes a very stressful day. On this day, it’s all about impressing his family. So, you must look good. Stick with a holiday dress but not too tight. You’ll want some breathing room so you still look good after dinner.

Try to stay away from really high heels the first time meeting your man’s family. There are two scenarios that can play out. First, you might trip and fall and his family will just remember you as the girl who tripped on Thanksgiving. Second, they might think you’re a snob for wearing six-inch heels to a family dinner. Choose shoes that are cute but subtle. Flats or low heels are best.

When you go out, it’s time to ditch the casual look. Throw on a nice blouse and pants or a long dress. If you’re up for wearing heels, pick ones that aren’t too high. Chunky heels are good enough. You never know who you’re going to see while your out, so plan to look elegant.

Small Gathering

If it’s just a few people getting together, you have a bit more leeway when it comes to your wardrobe. You can go casual or fancy. We love a skirt with an elastic band that allows you to eat however much you want. Pair it with a blouse or tee and flats.
