On April 17, SoulCycle kicked off SoulTogether, their first rider challenge of 2018. With April being a month honoring health and wellness, a rider challenge is an appropriate activity for this month.

SoulTogether is a goal-driven 30-day challenge where riders select their own goal and have the opportunity to give back to the community by completing classes. For those 30 days, SoulCycle is encouraging riders to pledge to push each other and ride for a reason. During the challenge, every ride will count towards a donation to SoulScholars, SoulCycle’s philanthropic fitness program for undeserved adolescents. High school students also take part in the SoulScholars program as they ride in classes two times a week with their classmates as well as teachers.

SoulCycle provides the students with everything they need such as clothes, transportation, and healthy snacks. Although the students are cycling away in classes, they are receiving more than a workout. The scholars experience the transformative magic of SOUL with the SoulCycle instructors and community supporting them along the way.

For every 50,000 rides taken, SoulCycle will contribute $25,000 (up to $100,000) to SoulScholars.

Those who purchase rides will receive perks as well. Here are details on what you can receive when purchasing a certain amount of rides:

Ten rides = one free class

Fifteen rides = one free class and one custom water bottle

Twenty rides = two free classes and one custom water bottle

Twenty-five rides = three free classes and one custom water bottle

Thirty rides = three free classes, one custom water bottle, a SOUL backpack, and the opportunity to win a golden ticket

The challenge ends May 16. For more information visit their website here.
