All dogs are cute, young, or old. We love them big, small, long or short; any kind of canine is a good dog. But the old doggies often don’t get the attention they deserve. Of course, puppies are adorable with their giant eyes and their boundless energy. But old doggies need love too. No matter how scruffy or tired they are, doggies are still adorable. And we all love dog videos. Who hasn’t spent hours online scrolling through clips on dogs doing tricks and making mistakes? They’re adorable. But most love goes to the puppy videos, which are, admittedly, very cute. Elderly doggies can be just as cute to watch. Some dogs are so ugly that they are cute. That is definitely true for this good boy. From his crazy eyes to his tongue flailing this dog is absolutely adorable. Plus who knew dogs wore dentures? This one reminds us of why we love all dogs regardless of size or age. He is a wholesome baby and we are obsessed with him. This pooch is truly someone we will never stop loving, and how could we?

Who could resist this awkward little sit? This old doggy is definitely one of the most flexible pups out there. They are clearly preparing for the next Olympic games, so watch out Simone Biles. And who doesn’t want to see dog Olympics? This canine’s cute little nap position is all we need to brighten our day.
Looking for a Friend
Dogs are social creatures, so as they get older they often lose their friends. Our hearts go out to this good boy trying to befriend the doggy on the tv screen. We want that dog to find a friend as much as he does. This shows why older pups need extra love and care. Although this video is a little sad, we still think that dog is absolutely adorable.
Old Boy, New Adventure
If old dogs can’t learn new tricks, they certainly can have new adventures. This boy’s first trip to the beach has our hearts melting. He is so cute playing in the waves and enjoying the ocean for the first time ever. Carlin definitely deserves the perfect day out. While we are all stuck inside for quarantine, a beach day seems like the perfect getaway. Though we can’t go to the ocean ourselves right now, watching this doggy is a great replacement.
Once a Baby Always a Baby
Anyone who has had a pup has hand-fed them at some point. Although this usually happens when giving treats, there are plenty of moments when we give our babies a little extra love. And who doesn’t want to spoil their dog like this? Even though it is unfortunate that this dog has to be hand-fed because of old age, we still find it absolutely endearing. This pooch might be old and need help, but they are also completely precious.
Giving Back Love
Sometimes the best dog videos are not the ones where doggies are doing tricks or running around. But pup appreciation posts are just as cute and valid as any other kind of dog video. We love our dogs because they have been with us through everything. They grew up with us and greeted us on our way home from school. Or they were there when we were sad or when we fell in love. Old dogs deserve appreciation for all they do to make our lives better. This pup and all canines hold a special place in our hearts.

For starters, we love that this canine is delivering us messages. Any pooch doing tricks is adorable whether it is rolling over or presenting a piece of paper to the camera. And despite this pup being an old boy, he is totally valid in ok boomering an old lady. This dog represents generational solidarity and we love it. Plus no dog deserves to be rejected, so this one deserves some extra love for what he went through. We are here to support this doggy, and support any other memes he wants to make.
Support the Pups
Older doggies very rarely get adopted, with most adoptions going to puppies. But luckily some people are still looking to take care of elderly dogs no matter what. Old dogs should not be forgotten, especially those who have extra needs. Having a pup with special needs only means that pup deserves extra love. Check out this awesome retirement home for dogs. We definitely need more places like this that aim to take care of dogs in their last days. Our best friends deserve love for their whole life, and that includes the ending.
