Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes Leon, recently made an enthralling style statement as she stared for Marc Jacob’s Spring 2021 Collection. The young lady has featured in an array of vibrant pictures and videos sporting the latest collection from the American designer wear titled ‘brought to life through the spirit of innovation and optimism.’
The fashion house highlighted that the pictures and videos were clicked to represent past and present to mark the brand’s next chapter. Lourdes Leon also shared images of the photoshoot on her social media handle, thanking the designer and the entire team for the photoshoot including stylist, Wollens Haley, photographer Capozzi Brianna, makeup artist Homidi Fara, Hairstylist McNaughton Tamara, and nail artist Kawajiri Mei.
Leon’s Close Tie With Jacob
During the entire campaign, the dancer and actress displayed some gorgeous printed ensembles and slither of her armpit hair, not to mention her red hair. The short was a part of Jacob’s playful and iconic campaigns from the ’90s. Lourdes Leon has been chosen to represent the next generation of the brand. The 24-year-old has a close tie with Marc Jacob since her mom Madonna has been a muse for the designer for a long time and is also a good friend.
How Leon Became the Face of the Brand?
Leon made her debut as a model with the New York Fashion Week, 2018, with Gypsy Sport Spring Show, 2019. She was accompanied by a fellow model and another celebrity kid Kendall Jenner, Bella Hadid, and Kaia Gerber, for the show that season. Lourdes Leon sported shredded denim, a huge bra, and funky dad sneakers for the fashion show.
Jacobs has been tapping the celeb kids for its promotions and campaigns. In 2018, they chose Lila Moss, Kate Moss’s daughter, for their Jacobs Beauty brand for face care range. The creative agency for the brand admitted that Leon is their newest client. She joined them last October, and since then, Madonna’s daughter has been campaigning for different brands like Adidas, Juicy Couture, etc.
Marc Jacob’s Spring 2021 Collection
The spring’21 collection offers pastel tone mini bags, tie and dye jogging sneakers having a leather patch worth $8 to the belted leopard printed trench coat worth $795. Leon was seen in different aviators and looks. Whether it was her Mary Jane styled shoes or floral prints, Lola yet again managed to leave her mark.
Featuring The High-Concept Looks
For the Jacobs shoot, Lourdes Leon shot in a bra with giant pink blossoms and sat down gazing at the camera while she spread her long gorgeous legs, letting her red tresses fall over the shoulders. In another look, the next-gen kid flaunted a steep black jacket with matching shorts and Mary Jane shoes and the signature tote bag from Marc Jacobs.
The Fashion Influencer for the Next-Gen
The shoot was proof that Lourdes Leon has inherited her mother’s exclusive style while she starred for the spring campaign. The 24-year-old model maintained a perfect balance between being sexy and artsy while sporting her hourglass figure in different looks for the American brand. Things went a little bold in a couple of shots showing the star kid posing in a floral printed shirt and matching shorts.
Leon continued posing with her playful look in a pair of vibrant rainbow socks and red shoes, which looked just perfect for Dorothy. Lola made another style statement as she wore a baby blue sweater and zero bottoms with pastel pink peep toe shoes. Her pose was as perfect as her hair while she grabbed the classic snapshot bag on her right.
Although Lourdes Leon prefers keeping things private, this was not the first time she got into the spotlight. She has done many campaigns for designer Stella McCartney and has also served as the brand ambassador for designers like Miaou, MadeMe, Miu Miu, etc. When it comes to fashion, Leon has a loud and fancy style; however, in her personal life, she maintains a low profile.
