What’s a Fashionologist you ask?
Well, Fashionologist is a unique blend of an experienced psychologist with a devoted fashion lover. There is no doubt that fashion holds great power over your self-confidence, success or empowerment. Fashionologist Ania Schwartzman Psy.D is one of a kind. Ania helps her clients create a personalized wardrobe that seamlessly aligns with how they want to be perceived by the world.
NYGal magazine asked Ania, the fashionologist some questions and here is what we learned.
1. How did you start your career?
I’ve been a licensed psychologist in private practice since 2001. I founded The Fashionoloigst when I decided I wanted to be more creative in my work. I toyed with lots of ideas until I had an experience helping a recently separated friend find a dress for her daughter’s graduation. The experience of helping her find the strength and confidence to face an uncomfortable situation was my AHA moment. After finding her a dress, I went home and created a website for my new business.
2. What does it mean to be an influencer for you?
Being an influencer to me means that others rely on my expertise as a psycholoigst and devoted fashion lover to change their lives for the better.
