First dates have the ability to give rise to a rollercoaster of emotions. The excitement of the date coupled with the need to look your best can be quite overwhelming. More often than not, choosing an outfit for your first date becomes a Herculean task. Worry not. We have got you covered with the best date outfits as you gear up for Valentine’s Day. Now you can spare your best friend that long phone call.
Chic And Sexy
Pair a black flowy cami with light wash high-waisted jeans and possibly a coat; for shoes, go with black slides, but if you want to dress it up, swap the slides for nude heels and the cami for a silk or satin cami. There you go! The perfect outfit for the perfect first date. The right blend of chic and sexy to look like a goddess. And while stepping out, do not forget to add a sprinkle of sass and confidence to your personality!
Of Course! The LBD
A little black dress can carry you through anything, so it’s always good to have one or two tucked away in your closet. There is no better solution than an alluring black dress when you are in a fix as to what to wear. As we all know, it is a proven fact that black is a timeless classic and a winning color. You cannot go wrong with a black outfit.
I’m picturing something nice but still fun. If it’s a party scene, go for a shorter hemline dress. And a longer hemline, for the formal situation. But then again, if you think you can rock a shorter hemline in a formal scenario and steal the show, then go ahead and be adventurous! And ladies, do not forget the spandex. Because you never know what is going to happen. Hence, it’s better to be on the safe side. Once you have ticked off these specifics, complete the look with a pair of nude heels, and you are good to go.
Classy Lady
So for this next outfit, we’re taking it up a notch and dressing like you’re going somewhere fancy, like “ohh, he’s got money.”Choose a satin gown with an asymmetrical ruffle across the bodice. This is the perfect evening wear as it looks chic, makes you feel beautiful, and has that subtle hint of sexiness. This is something I would wear to a cocktail party at an upscale restaurant. Or something in the way of a charity, a benefit, or a gala. You know, I’ve never been to one of those, and I don’t really see myself going to one anytime soon (a girl can dream). But maybe some of the people reading this are true functioning members of society and will need to attend one sometime and need some outfit ideas. So basically, in this outfit, you will bring the sauce.
Keeping It Casual?
We are dressing it down and wearing a basic white tee with the most comfortable pair of jeans and a pair of sneakers. For many activity-based dates like bowling, roller skating, and ice skating, you must wear the activities’ footwear. So make sure you either wear or bring along a pair of socks. That way, you don’t get into the gross and uncomfortable situation of not having socks to wear. I like to opt for socks with a fun print because they show your personality, and it’s also just a fun conversation starter. To complete this outfit, I’d add a jacket. I love an outfit like this because it looks casual and low-key, but it still looks like you put effort into looking nice for the date.
Now for this next outfit, we are keeping the white tee and swapping out the bottoms for a skirt. Throw on a denim jacket, and shoe-wise, go for white sneakers. This is the ideal cute go-to outfit for casual daytime dates, especially if it involves a lot of walking around. After all, how can you enjoy the subtle romance of walking hand-in-hand in the absence of a comfy outfit?
Mom Jeans
High-waisted mom jeans: We are switching to a pair of high-waisted mom jeans and a cozy knit sweater. Tucking the front of the sweater in to ensure that your frame doesn’t get lost in all the fabric and cinch it all together with a belt. Belts are so versatile that 11 out of 10 recommend them. This is another great outfit to add a little shine to a little adventure or to just hang out in.
With Valentine’s Day around the corner, if you guys have any V-Day plans, I hope these outfits help you because there’s just so much pressure with Valentine’s Day sometimes. So I hope I was able to alleviate some of your stress by providing you with some outfit ideas.
