Have you ever worried about your job when you want to take a break and enjoy traveling? Have you ever wanted to quit everything and just travel with an enormous amount of money in your pocket? We think we have a solution for you. Although we cannot guarantee complete relaxation, if you love traveling, this is for you. There are actual jobs around the world that let you travel, and you can do it guilt-free because it is actually your job! And you get paid for it! If you have “wanderlust” in your Instagram bio or that mini airplane tattoo, read along to find out some best jobs for the traveler inside you!

1. Pilot

Becoming a pilot is tough and requires you to fulfill many criteria, but it’s worth it. You travel to a different location almost every day. The food you eat and the places you stay are funded by the airlines. Depending on your performance, you can get promoted and start flying international flights as well. To become a pilot, you need a bachelor’s degree in any science field, which includes physics and mathematics. After receiving the degree, you need to take a course to become a pilot, and then you are set to apply for jobs! It involves certain risks and staying away from family and friends for a larger part of your days.

2. Merchant Navy

The merchant navy is considered to be one of the toughest jobs in the world. It requires being on the ship constantly for as long as 6 months. And this can involve no network or internet, which means remaining out of touch with your friends and family for days at a stretch. The merchant navy has “travel” written all over it, around the world. You have to travel overseas, and you are in a new country every other week. This job not only lets you travel but also sponsors your food and stay. Whatever time you spend on the ship, the food and rooms are provided by the company.

3. Travel Blogger/Influencer

We all have to admit. Seeing influencers travel so much, eat such good food, and get free stuff makes us all crave that life sometimes, don’t we? We can have that life if we want to. Becoming an influencer or blogger is difficult but not impossible. You have to post regularly on social media and see what your audience wants. If you want to become a travel blogger, post about your trip and things related to it. The key to success is posting on a regular basis. For the first few months, before you are a well-established blogger, you need to pay for your own travel. When you have achieved a certain level of followers or engagement, brands might start sponsoring your trips or other things. Research becoming an influencer and go through the pros and cons before starting the journey!

4. Event Planners

Being an event planner is absolutely fun! It can get exhausting, but it is fun! Different people prefer different locations for their events. If it is a destination wedding, congratulations! You are traveling to a new place! For sure, the best part of becoming an event planner is the opportunity to experience the beauty of different locations and get to know new people.
