She was cast as Elizabeth Proctor in the 1994 film “The Crucible”. Courtney’s role in the movie won her a Best Actress award. She also went on to star in a variety of TV shows and movies.

Her husband, Dzsott Kolanash, is a lighting director at The Groundlings. Stephanie Courtney and her husband married on December 25th, 2008. The couple has one daughter together, who was born in 2009.

Since graduating from The Groundlings, Courtney has appeared in several commercials. Her first commercial was for Bud Light beer. Later, she was cast in commercials for Skittles and Toyota. She also appeared as a recurring character on AMC’s hit show Mad Men. She is the former girlfriend of Jon Hamm, who plays a famous advertising executive on the show. She also appeared in Progressive Insurance commercials, playing the role of Flo.
