If you’re shy or just don’t feel like being surrounded by strangers, this is the perfect option for you. Private classes are two hours long and they’re packed with important techniques and safety tips. You can take this class in their Chelsea studio or the instructor can come to your home.
For those that are just starting out in self-defense, Female Awareness offers a two-hour open enrollment course twice a month. Sign up by yourself or with a friend. You gotta start somewhere, why not with Female Awareness?
Looking for a free event to see what self-defense is all about? Attend the Find Your Fearlessness event on October 9. From 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM, you will learn to walk with confidence and how to use your voice. This event is all about overcoming your fears and standing strong in the face of danger.

Who says all the fun happens in Manhattan? This self-defense class goes down in Brooklyn. The best thing about this organization is that all of their funds go to support the Rape, Abuse, Incest National Network. This network supports survivors and strives to stop sex crimes everywhere.
