On February 6, 2023, the 65th Grammy Awards were held. Apart from the great songs, the celebrities served some hot pippin’ fashion looks on the red carpet! We could see some new names on the list of designers, and we were not disappointed. People interested in fashion all over the world look forward to the Grammy Awards because they get to see their favorite celebrities all glammed up. Here are some looks from the awards’ red carpet!
Harry Styles in Egonlab
Looking at Harry Styles in the sparkly overalls made us fall in love all over again. His butterfly tattoo is like the cherry on top of the cake. The “Golden” singer made magic happen with silver. Overalls and sparkles have become a fashion statement for Harry, and we are here for it! Styles indeed has a reputation for breaking stereotypes! We say an outfit goes to waste if we don’t get good pictures of it. In the case of the Grammys, his outfit did not go to waste as he won the award for best album for “Harry’s House.”
Doja Cat in Versace
These days, Doja Cat has been taking experimentation to new heights. At the Grammys, the star flaunted a gothic look, complete with a black Versace dress and dark makeup. In terms of sustainability and reducing fabric waste, the vinyl dress was an excellent choice. The full-length gloves of the same material gave a retro look to the entire outfit. As an addition to the styling, basic black hoops worked like a charm!
Lizzo in Dolce & Gabbana
Lizzo has been in the headlines recently for her record “About Damn Time,” and her extravagant orange-colored outfit at the Grammys made sure that she maintained her place among the headlines. Her orange gown was a stunning showstopper. With flowers embroidered on it as if they were falling from the top of the gown, it made for a beautiful view. After all, florals are evergreen! Underneath the gown, she wore an orange corset to give a beautiful silhouette to the outfit. The orange eyeshadow worked amazingly with the whole look. On top of it, the statement rings she wore on each hand were amazing!
Cardi B in Gaurav Gupta
Cardi B looked very unique in Gaurav Gupta’s haute couture. Gaurav Gupta’s stunning outfit looked very fashionable on Cardi! The pleated nature of the upper half of the outfit sheltered her head. This element was inspired by “ghoonghat,” or an Indian traditional veil. The sequins added the jazz that the outfit needed. The silver rhinestone earrings were a beautiful addition. The nude makeup put the spotlight on the outfit even more. Overall, the body-hugging gown was amazing and actually suited the singer a lot.
Taylor Swift in Roberto Cavalli
Gorgeous as always! An outfit doesn’t make Taylor look beautiful, but Taylor makes an outfit beautiful. So gorgeous. We are guessing the outfit she wore was for her new album, “Midnights.” After all, Easter bunnies and symbolism are her specialties. The stunning two-piece ensemble was embellished with rhinestones and beading, adding to its allure. Apart from this, the big danglers with blue stones worked like magic. Her statement blue ring and dark blue nails were a great idea for styling. In the current fashion world, where complementary colors are trending, styling with the same colors will never get old. To sum it all up, her classic red lip look is evergreen!
Sam Smith and the Gang in Valentino
Sam Smith made a groundbreaking entrance at the Grammys with Kim Petras, Violet Chachki, Gottmik, and others! And Damn! They looked so fine. Everyone dressed in red turned their heads. They were dressed and styled by Valentino. From pink to red, Valentino is definitely great at monotone. The 80s look was inspired by a wedding but in the color red! The gang was there for their song “Unholy,” which has taken the music industry by storm.
Maneskin in Gucci
The four members of the band Maneskin kept everyone’s eyes glued on them throughout their red carpet walk. All of them synced in complementary warm tones, including beige, orange, bronze, and brown. The velvet and sparkle included in the looks were amazing. They managed to charm the old basic stripes! Their looks were glammed up with black shades and eyeliner.
Bebe Rexha in Moschino
Bebe Rexha ruled the red carpet in a pink gown from Moschino. The blonde hair really goes well with the powder pink color. Plus, the long gloves of the same shade lend an entire Barbie feel to it. To style it, she wore simple silver hoop earrings. On top of the glove, she wore a silver bracelet and a silver ring to give the look a royal touch. Just when we thought that halter and criss cross necklines were not in trend anymore, she proved us wrong! The body-hugging gown emphasized her physique with grace.
This year’s red carpet was indeed a fashion parade! We saw it all, from unisex clothing that defied gender stereotypes to the basic corset body-hugging looks! The designers and their teams who worked behind the scenes deserve lots of appreciation. The celebrities who looked stunning in these outfits looked divine on the red carpet! We can’t wait for more such visual treats to come our way!
