Amongst his many acting credits, Clinton Howard is best known for playing the role of James Mason in the blockbuster film Twilight. But he has also made a name for himself in movies such as A Beautiful Mind, Mad Families and Rush. He is also the younger brother of actor Ron Howard.
A Beautiful Mind
Adapted by Akiva Goldsman, A Beautiful Mind is a biographical drama film about John Nash, a Nobel Prize winning mathematician. It stars Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly, Josh Lucas, Ed Harris, and Christopher Plummer. The film won four Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay. It also received eight Academy Award nominations.
The film opens with Nash (Crowe) in graduate school at Princeton University. He meets Alicia Connelly (Connelly), and the two fall in love. Then, Nash undergoes a painful journey of self discovery. His work on game theory in mathematics is overshadowed by mental illness, and he suffers auditory and visual delusions. He is also arrested for indecent exposure in 1954. Eventually, he discovers Nash Equilibrium.
Rush
Having been an actor for over 60 years, Clint Howard is an iconic Hollywood legend. He has starred in hundreds of films and television shows. He has appeared in shows such as Happy Days, The Andy Griffith Show and Star Trek. He has also appeared in many movies directed by his brother, Ron Howard. He has earned two Academy Awards for his work. He is also one of only a few people to have two stars.
Clint’s career began at a young age, as he began acting on the popular Andy Griffith show. He played a variety of characters over the years. In 1974, he starred as Richie Cunningham on Happy Days.
Apollo 13
‘Apollo 13’, a film directed by Ron Howard, tells the story of the mission to the Moon. It stars Tom Hanks, Kevin Bacon, and Bill Paxton. The film is based on the real Apollo 13 mission, which took place in 1970.
The Apollo 13 crew was on its way to the moon, but an on-board explosion cut off their electrical power and oxygen. The astronauts had to use their ingenuity to get back to Earth.
The film stars Tom Hanks, who plays NASA astronaut Jim Lovell, who commanded the mission. He and his crew spend 13 days in the aircraft.
Eat My Dust!
EAT MY DUST is a fun movie about the craziest driver in Puckerbush County. The story centers on a small town sheriff’s son, Hoover Niebold, who is obsessed with speed. The movie features actors like Kathy O’Dare, Christopher Norris, Terrence Howard, and Dave Madden.
The story starts off with Hoover stealing a race car. The sheriff daddy and his motorized posse attempt to reclaim the car. The duo dodges the police and mechanics. They also run into a greedy preacher who is after a hefty reward.
The story is followed by a radio show hosted by Don Steele. The host is portrayed as intrusive and offers $25,000 for the return of the police car.
Twilight
Whether you’re in the market for a date night movie or you’re looking to impress your colleagues, Clint Howard’s The Twilight Saga is a worthy addition to your entertainment repertoire. With a stellar cast led by Oscar winner Paul Newman, this movie is a surefire hit. It’s the perfect way to spend a chilly evening.
Aside from the cast, the movie also makes use of one of the most expensive sets of lensed optics on the market: the Oculus Rift. With the price tag at a reported $500 million, the Oculus is by far the most expensive in the Twilight series.
Last Call
Amongst his plethora of films and television appearances, there’s no doubt Clint Howard is one of the most prolific characters in show business. For instance, he has appeared in more than 200 films, television series and documentaries. He is also the younger brother of Academy Award winning filmmaker Ron Howard. Aside from his tyrannical father, he was raised by several well known actors, including his mother Jean Speegle Howard and his uncle Rance Howard, a former actor and now a successful entrepreneur. Besides, Clint’s parents never took their kids on extravagant vacations.
Mad Families
Described as a multigenerational comedy, Crackle’s latest film is about three different families, who have been assigned to camp at the same Independence Day weekend site. They begin to compete for the space, and then they decide to hold a series of competitions in order to determine which family wins. The film also features Leah Remini and Tiffany Haddish. However, while the cast is entertaining, the movie itself can be pretty rote and doesn’t leave much room for character development.
The movie relies heavily on racial cliches and sitcom tropes to create a humorous setting. However, the film’s backbiting comments from other families serve as an effective comic effect.
