Gal Gadot is an Israeli model, an actor, and a producer. Her parents are also from an Israeli background. Her father’s name is Michael Gadot, and he is an engineer. Her mother was a physical education teacher back in her days, and her name is Iris Weiss. Apart from them, Gal has a younger sister in her family named Dana Gadot. She was born in the Israeli city of Petah Tikva and attended Begin High School for her high school education. Gal Gadot and her sister were raised in a strict and disciplined environment by their parents. Gal has always been an all-around performer and achiever. Along with excelling in sports in her school days like basketball and volleyball, she was also into dancing. She performed several dance forms like ballet, hip-hop, and jazz. She never aspired to be an actor, but rather a choreographer. She was passionate about earning money for herself and worked at the local Starbucks. Along with this job, she had gotten offers for modeling, but she rejected them, saying that getting paid for posing is not her cup of tea.

Gal Gadot’s mother, on the other hand, recognized Gal’s potential. She sent her photos to the Miss Israel Pageant without telling Gal. Not very surprisingly, Gal got selected. She went with no hopes and zero interest, but again, her talent and luck favored her. She was crowned Miss Israel. As this was not her field of interest, she participated in the Miss Universe competition by breaking a rule. She applied no makeup. Later, she gave a vague answer when a judge asked her a question.

In Israel, it is mandatory to serve in the military for a while. This was the time when Gal decided to finish her mandatory military service. Following this, Gadot decided to complete her studies and enroll in law school. During this tenure, she was offered James Bond’s Quantum of Solace. After lots of persuasion and convincing, she agreed to an audition and got a callback. But, in accordance with the law, she did not attend the shooting. But by this time she had realized that she was meant for acting, and acting was meant for her. Luckily for her, she got a call from the director of the movie Fast and Furious. This was a big breakthrough for her. She also went on to be a part of an Israeli TV show called Bubot. Her career officially started when she quit college in 2008 and started acting as a full-time job. Later in her career, she played a variety of supporting roles before being cast as Wonder Woman in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice. Following this, she also got a solo movie based on her character, Wonder Woman.

Personal Life

Gal Gadot’s love story is one for the books. She married an Israeli businessman and real estate guy, Yaron Varsano. They met through mutual friends at what she called a “strange party” in the Israeli desert. He did not wait for long, knowing she was his forever. They got married in 2008 and have had three kids since. Their names are Maya Varsano, Alma Varsano, and the youngest, Danielle Varsano.
