Priscilla Presley’s real name is Priscilla Ann Wagner. She was born on May 24, 1945, in Brooklyn, New York. Her mother, Anna Lillian Iversen, remarried to Paul Beaulieu, a US Air Force officer, who adopted Priscilla and raised her as his own daughter. Priscilla grew up in a military family and moved frequently to different places, such as Texas, Maine, Connecticut, and Germany.

Priscilla met Elvis Presley in Germany when she was 14 years old where her father was stationed. Elvis, who was 24 at the time, was serving in the US Army and was stationed in Friedberg. Priscilla was introduced to him by a mutual friend, Currie Grant, at a party at Elvis’ home in Bad Nauheim. Priscilla and Elvis were instantly attracted to each other and began a courtship that lasted for several years. Priscilla’s parents were initially reluctant to let her see Elvis, but they eventually agreed to let her visit him in the United States under the condition that they would get married.
